We went in on a sunday afternoon and it was a short wait and was a little bit busy. Was given coffee and promptly and ordered food after 5 minutes. We ordered the specials and combo from the menu. After 45 minutes of waiting, they told us that the poached egg for the benedict would take a while. After an hour of waiting for our food, we got upset as they started serving people that had come in 15 minutes after us. We left after they served the table of 6 poached eggs that had come in 30 minutes after us. This was very rude and they did not apologize but only stated that it takes a long time to poach an egg. It does not take an hour and 15 minutes of waiting to poach an egg. Service was horrible and the food did not look apetizing. The washrooms were dirty. Would not recommend this place to anybody. We are respectable and were well dressed, either the waitress or staff were racist or incompetent. I do not know why they provided such terrible service.
I've been to Bramasole a handful of times, each time hoping that it might be a better experience than the last. Like the last reviewer, I think the servers at Bramasole are either racist or incompetent, or maybe both. If you do decide to visit Bramasole, use a straw for the cold drinks - my friend got a cold sore from drinking a soda straight from the cup... so gross.
Better wear warm boots and double socks if you decide to go
there in the winter. Been there numerous times as my co-workers
like the breakfast special. Get ready to open and close the door
on your wayin and out. How ridiculous! Why don't they fix the door
once and for all. Waited by the door to be seated for quite a while.
Felt like a coat rack just standing there. I quickly scanned the floor
and noticed how filthy and unkept the floor tiles looked. Glanced at the
so-called cooks who looked more like they should be lining up for a
hand-out. Ordered a nice warm Coca-Cola. They lower the frige temperature
to save power. Closing time three o'clock...what a farce! Ever heard of
a diner closing this early???They open too late and close too early and
the service is usually very slow but friendly. Guess they have to be friendly
as the wait period is often so ridiculous. I have one good reason to go back
the Thursday hamburger special. Now that's worth it. Hard to beat!
The food is great, the menu has nice selections especially for breakfast, it has on school classic 60s dinner set up inside very retro and unique, it does not have a rodent problem thank Good however they need to keep those back doors closed from the flys, and perhaps just a little more cleanliness in the overall cleaning day to day of the restaurant, well like all restaurant I believe should practice carefully daily cleaning, they have a great staff and tall dark handsome chef, he just looks better to eat than the food. I give this joint 7 out of 10.
They don't have a burger special on Thursday
My first and last experience at Bramasole diner was horrible. I ordered breakfast with me eggs "over easy". Both of my eggs came out "over broken". Strike one! So I figured I would move on to my French toast... well there was a big hair on my French toast. Strike two!!! When I brought it up to my server, it seemed that she did not care and told me that "it happens."... What?? It happens???? Strike three!!!! it doesn't matter if its a below average diner or a high class restaurant, hair should NOT be in someone's meal. On my way out the server glared at me like it was my fault? I'm sorry but I am bald and I did not place a hair in my food.... Strike four!!!! which leads me to write this review. All of this could have been avoided if the cooks were somewhat clean shaven, and did not look like the guys from Duck Dynasty, and maybe wore hair nets in the kitchen. I strongly advise no one to eat here, as it is unsanitary and the servers are rude!!!
